Thanks to all who attended Mexi-nite at the Red Trail Vineyard last Friday.  It was another great outing!  Our next Friday Nite Special will be on July 6^th - Italian Nite including all the fixins'.   We’ll have a 5 pm and 7 pm seating.  Reserve your seating early as we fill up quick!

Other happenings at the vineyard this past week...

We had 700+ vines that didn't survive the winter so now we are pruning and training the new growth.  That training will continue throughout the summer.  Weed control spraying will begin Monday on the north vineyard which will take care of the thistle & stray grass.  Weather forecast for the week is for warm temps and a lot of high heat degree days. Our King of the North, Frontenac and Frontenac Gris look great and looking for a wonderful harvest this fall. We will soon start to net our grapes that will be used for our Ice Wine.  Come over and check them out.

Also, we will be closed for vineyard repair & maintenance from June 28^th to July 1^st.  We will be open on July 4^th for tastings. And our next Friday Night Special – Italian Night, July 6^th.
